Certificate Received
I have now passed all three of my IC3 tests. The one fact that I'm proudest of is that I passed them all on the first try.

First IC3 Test
I took my first IC3 test tonight and blew it out of the water. The test was easier than I thought it would be. Now that it is over a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Let's just hope the next one goes as well as this one did.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning Technology – Food Service Refrigeration
I chose the Food Service Refrigeration degree for a few reasons. The number one reason is I can take this degree anywhere and get a job. Every town in the country has a gas station or a grocery store. Food service refrigeration deals with mainly but not limited to ice machines, reach-in coolers, walk-in freezers, and ice cream machines. Secondly I was told by an instructor of mine that when the housing market crashed in 2008, the refrigeration guys were the only guys working. That same instructor also told me that they tend to make on average $50,000 more that regular HVAC technicians. Lastly, and this is a big one, I'm getting to old to be climbing up on roofs every day.
I'm looking at graduating with my degree at the end of the spring semester 2018. That's one year later than I should be, but with the way the classes are laid out and work it makes it hard to get it all done in two years. After this semester I'll only have three more required A/C classes and I believe four more general education classes.

Damn I'm Tired
So I can't wait for this semester to be over. It's not because I don't like the classes. I really like the classes, well maybe not my English class. The problem is between my work schedule and class load I am maybe getting 5 hours of sleep a night. At work I'm on my feet all day. Then I come to to school and I'm there for four more hours. I'm not eating right and that's really bad for me since I'm also Diabetic. my days off are spent doing homework for all my classes except IS101, that work I have to do at school because I don't have the right software at home. Soon it will all be over and will have been worth it, so that is what keeps me going.

Build Plan Paused
I've put the build plan on pause for this post. As I sit here in my sons hospital room, it has given me time to comment on my classmates' blogs and right this one. I also was able to change the design of my blog. Good thing is, he is going to be discharged tonight as soon as the order comes in. Well that's it for now just keeping it short and sweet for this one.

Build Planning
About a year ago I recently purchased a 2000 Buick Regal GSE. It is the second 2000 Regal I currently own, the other is the naturally aspirated 3800. I bought the second one because it is has the supercharged 3800, and I have wanted one from the first time I saw it. I've been a Buick man for years and have worked as a tech at a Buick Dealership for many of them.
To start the plan I need to figure out what I want to do with it. I know I want to make changes to the engine, suspension, and brakes. What I want to do with it is make it a "sleeper". Nobody expects to see grandpa's Buick blowing their doors off. The car stock puts 240hp to the ground. I want to pump that up to 700hp. To do that I need to swap the heads, lifters, cam and exhaust. I will also need to port and tune the supercharger and add a inter-cooler. I'll also need to reprogram the ECM.
Thats enough for now. I have to put more thought into the suspension and brake also. Stay tuned I will be back with more on the build planning and hopefully details as work begins.
